We think that everyone should stand more, because today we are all sitting far too much! That is why we started Upstaa.
Did you know that working Europe spends an average of 9 hours a day sitting? That is a lot, and very unhealthy. We believe that varying standing and sitting a lot is the way to keep yourself healthy during your work. And that’s not only in our opinion. Research from different sources has shown that long sitting is harmful to you. That is why we are in favour of sitting less and alternating more between standing and sitting.
We are Upstaa.com, a webshop with our own workshop in a small town (Starnmeer) just above Amsterdam. Upstaa is produced, packaged and shipped with care here. And we have been doing that with great pleasure since 2017. You can of course drop by, but please make an appointment first.
When producing Upstaa, we take people and nature into account as much as possible. For example, we only use certified wood from controlled forestry. And we use packaging material that is guaranteed to contain 0% plastic or PVC.
We do everything we can to make Upstaa feel at home on your desk. So if you have any questions or comments, send us an email. We will contact you immediately.
